✅ SOLVED Is this a gun part????

Found this today it is heavy. Found here in the Arboretum where you wouldn't expect a gun part I also found this bullet in a total different part of the Arb. Weird day any help would be great Sorry I'm going to blame my computer for the pic uploads when its actually me. Some how it makes me fell better,lol Thanks in advance

How deep are the holes on the one end? I wonder if they were to balance it, and that it went on something that spins... not that anything in particular comes to mind.

I'm not sure how deep they are I haven cleaned it very well they are stuffed with dirt Thanks for the input!!!!

I kinda poked at the middle seems very hard it could be wood but feels too hard more like its metal. This piece is heavy also like it could be cast iron
