Is this a Tombac Botton ??

I have been trying to date a site I have been hunting lately. So far appears most of my finds date from early to late 1800's. Its the earlier history,,, that I don't run across to ofter here in Illinois. Tombac button or not and what time period is it from? Thanks for your help in advance!!!

No. it looks like a copper/alloy flat button.

Tombac usually will be slicker and grey in appearance.
