That's a neat find. I normally see them white or off white. Excited to see what you learn . Its clay right ?

If you hadn't already, I'd run a metal detector around where it was found. Could be early buttons and coins as well as other interesting artifacts waiting to be found. - Good luck!

Tavern pipe aka Trade pipe. Some that came from Germany had a long stem and were usually white. Later after realizing how fragile the stems were they made them like yours. Make or bring your own stem.

Found in a creek hunting arrowheads

At least yours is the real deal. I found an orange in color one laying in gravel bed at the bottom of a creek here in Georgia, I was real happy about finding it until, I reached down and picked it up. I quickly found out that my "find of the day" was actually the rubber cover off of a lawnmower spark plug.
