Is this an arrowhead?

Please help me out and let me know if this is an actual arrowhead I found or just wishful thinking.

Can you take a picture of the edges? Do you see any work on it?

Although it has the shape of an arrowhead, I feel it may be natural

It might be it sort of has the shape, like stated above a photo of the edge wouls help. It could be creek or river worn if found around water. like a creek or river.

The last photo really makes ya wonder huh.

Seem's like I might see faint chipping around the edges in the last photo. The base look's sort of rounded though.

This is all I see, other than that I can't see any work on it. It looks like it's been in the water though

Hey I would have brought that home too. Like a friend once told me, when in doubt, bring it home for further review

Try to scratch some glass with it. If the glass is easily scratched by the artifact, then the 'artifact' is probably stone...

It was found in a creek. I was impressed that you guys could see that and had little idea of the effect that has on it.

I'll get a few more pics up very shortly.

No. I thought it was a piece of natural quartzite material, but I looked at the pics more and I'll go with the melted glass. It might take longer than there was time for water to produce that sort of erosion on glass. You've got a good preform, maybe see if you could knap it out?!

Thanks for the edge shot with the swirl. If it's glass, it's probably old. Obviously water worn.

It's too small to knap. neat, though.

Thank's for the edge photo, These think's can fool you sometimes it has the outline that would give you the impression of a arrowhead, but the edge is too thick and does not show sign's of edge work it does look old and water worn though. I remember I found a piece of bone one time that had the perfect outline of a arrowhead, but it was just a odd shaped piece of broken bone.

Never too small to knap. We find Wa$hita points around a half inch or less long, perfectly thinned and knapped.
