Is this fake?

I posted this a few years ago, someone on here said it’s fake because the leaves on the tree are different than the year, can anyone give any further verification? After a lot of research I couldn’t find any real good info on this potentially 100 dollar coin. If it’s real what grade do you think it could get?

Go online and find a coin dealer in your area to have them look at it. Or, take it to a jeweler and ask them to do a silver test.

Most likely a fake. Also a lot of inconsistencies in the lettering. Key question is, where did you get it from? If the answer is "flea market," then almost certainly fake.

I traded someone’s small coin collection for a bike. It was a state road bike, don’t buy one it was junk. There were some other neat coins but still a bad deal. This is one of the coins. So the leaves being slightly different means it’s fake? It also it appears on mine the eagle has extra detail on the claws. Funny it sounds like silver ands it’s not magnetic, could fool a lot of people

The best advice is noted above.....have it tested. If it's silver, being fake is
no longer an issue as Josh said; even if real it's only worth melt value.

I bought a fake trade dollar and a fake bust dollar at a flea market for $5 each, specifically because I wanted fake examples to test with. When you drop them on a hard surface, they have the same sweet ring as a silver dollar.

A key visual indicator on your Peace dollar is the "PEACE" on the rear. Yours is very bold and distinct, and even on my uncirculated examples that word is weak and shallow. On my circulated coins, it is the first thing on the rear that gets worn down.

My coin snap program says it is not fake, This morning I snapped pictures of your pictures and it valued it at $84 If you could take a full picture of your back I could retake the whole coin

The coin shop lady said it weighs like 22 grams and it supposed to weigh 26 or something along those lines. She didn’t look at it at all. I went over the whole thing and the only thing that’s different are the leaves, to my untrained eye.

...Do not rely on image analysis for authentication of questionable coins ... online AI (Awfully Incompetent) is nothing but a quick search & compile program which can search & compile bad information ... really fast ... don't be misled by "AI" ...

anyone offering a conclusive analysis from a photo should not be taken seriously ... any authentication of questionable coins should be done by a knowledgeable human being with the coin in hand.

It's one of the Chinese fakes flooding the market. While there are other giveaways on this coin the weight is conclusive, no need to look any further. Fortunately, the weight is one thing they get wrong on "silver" coins. On copper the weight is even usually close enough.
