It's a pretty solid object. Heavier than it appears.

The CD game case works as a good size reference, and it looks like maybe chalkware? But I'm lost on the form of it... What do we figure those holes are for? Too small for fingers, but maybe for hanging it on a wall?

I wonder if the holes were so it could be braided into macrame as a hanging plant holder.

I was thinking the holes were for some sort of rope to attach said object to something (animal or wall).

It appears to be hand made but then again who's to say some manufacturer was not going for this appeal.

I really wish someone knew more about it I can't seem to find anyone who knows. Maybe it's worth noting the lack of knowledge of said item. (Could be a rare artifact or some random joe made it) But who knows!.
