Is this pottery?

Is this pottery or something else? Found on an NJ beach close to lithic artifacts. The curvature and grooves are throwing me off, plus I’ve never found pottery before, so I don’t know what I’m looking for or at.

Nope. Looks like a coconut skin...

I also think it is a piece of coconut. It appears fibrous, especially in the 2nd image, left side and the V shaped patterns as well.
