Isnt it sad that we cant always show off our best finds or if we do find something amazing we get the feeling like the gov. is going to take it away, or that someone is going to pretend its theirs? Everytime I find even something remotley cool I stuff it in my pocket before anyone can see it, kinda makes me sad that is how we have to do things.

I didnt find anything cool. I wish I had. I was more referencing the post about a guy who thought he found a gold spike but wasnt sure if he could keep it due to various reasons etc. No if I found something kool I sure as heck wouldnt post a topic like this one. Everything I have found so far no one would want anyways other than maybe other metal detectorists,

So i was looking back on this topic pondering finding something super amazing...even if the gov. or whoever would take it...i would still post my finds none the less just so everyone here could see something so amazing,and maybe make that banner one day
