Issued complete refund. How to get fees back.

I issued a full refund for a $250 item. The ebay fees came to $26.25, I have never had to do this before and was wondering how to get the fees back if possible. Thanks

I think you have to cancel the transaction to get the eBay fees taken off. Or send the buyer a cancel transaction request.

You may have received a final value fee "credit" but you didn't get a "refund". There is a difference. Requesting a refund of your eBay credit balance

Diggum & Beachkid are correct if you just give a refund no fees returned. If you ask the buyer to cancel the transaction or vice versa you get your fees
