Well the two silver dimes came 2 coins apart oddly enough after juicing the dfx up. Went with pag>4 and ac sens>74. Had hit a concession stand and there were quarters all around it. :) 66 coins and over $6 in clad.

White's strikes wilver!

How deep was the Barber dime? Was it a good signal?

Love those silver coins!
That Barber is a real prize!

Congrats!

WTG on the silver! I cant believe how different coins sink in the soil. Just the other day I pulled a 40's Merc from about 8" deep and not 5-10' away my hunting partner pulled a Barber Dime from just under the roots.

Once again, WTG on the silver and a hefty clad count!!!!

Dude,

Clean that Barber dime up and post a pic then. It looks to be in XF condition!

Gregg,
The barber looks sweet! ;D Great detail. I would get fired up too.

Ever crank the AC up to 85? Nate almost always hunts with the preamp at 4, and AC in the 80's.

Bob I believe it was you that told me to start running the ac sens higher and the pag at 4? ??? Thanks 3 silver coins in last couple weeks now since you said that... :) I was all over the board this morning....had ac sens. as low as 61 due to newly installed night lights by the concession stand. Tried ac sens at 78, 74 did the trick in the field, 78 was probably erratic because of new underground wiring.......I hit field knowing this is the oldest park I hunt and after 5 days of storms and crazy weather..was hoping just to pull a wheatie at end of hunt... :)

The barber was only 2.0! The rosey 1.5! :o We have had severe storms trees down all over city wonder if these coins were pushed upwards? ???

Extremely strong signal on the barber, I wiped back off first and was stunned...the signal on both went between 78 and 81. I enjoyed this more then some of the rings I found this year! ;D

Will post a cleaned up pic tonight...took photo exactly as they came out of ground....will take a close up after sleep (work midnights) that is how I hunt so much in mornings... ;)

Isn't old silver wonderful!? Makes up for the paltry 66 coins ;D.

Yeah what he said. Why don't you go back out and drop all that clad back on the ground and call me, I'll come clean it up with Ponce. Wouldn't want you getting in trouble for littering. ;D ;D :D

Thanks to you I now have another coin to add to my list of need to finds!

WOAH!!! Modern time cladding along with some extreme end to end dime action Barber---->Rosie=one hell of hunt Gregg! Amazing the depth they were resting in. Some coins just don't get too far down. I've witnessed it first hand. Nice work buddy.

Nice finds Gregg, congrats on the Barber and Roosey!! I think this could become a daily thing!! Nice coin totals!!

Updated photo

Cleaned the silver dimes from today, the barber does have a black stain on both sides, but has the word liberty in full across head.
