It is ugly and not much left but it my first US Plate and some bullets

Went out this morning and it was slow covering ground where not much had been found in the past. Wanted it get one more bullet before I had to get out so I went to a place where I have gone over a 100 times and always gives someting up. with in 5 minutes and 2nd good signal I dug my first US belt plate
it is a mess all broken up but I will take it what a way to start the New Year I hope this is a sign of better things to Come !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You've broken the ice which is the hardest part of finding key relics. Though it may not be in the best of conditions, it is still a plate and something that is getting harder to find each year. Be proud of it. Your next one is sure to be a gem in comparison. Congrats!

Hutch, What a great way to start off this 2009. That US Plate is nice.

I like to dig up the bullets too. All of it is a part of both Americas history.

Go back to the area, go slow. And, dig every sound. I would not miss a thing.
