I hunted hard today, two different sites but dug a lot of iron, pull tabs, bottle caps and other trash. I really thought that it had been a bust but as I was double checking my pile of cruddy pennies for wheaties, I discovered that I had two rough looking IHP, a 1904 and a 1883. The eagle thing, no idea what it is from, the back side was toasted bad. I found it in front of the parking area of an old cemetery, really thought that I would do good there and that may have been where the two IHP came from. That wasn't all of the trash, dug some big stuff too. The N thing is maybe a bottle opener. Pull tabs/rings rang up from 12 to 20 with the Nox and 6" coil. The last 45 minutes, I just walked over the 14s, 15s, 16s and 17s....gotta save some for next time LOL.

Nice hunt and the 2 IH Cents were the icing on the cake!

sounds like you did well despite the trash! I love the IHP's they still make my day to find. Congrats!

A day with IH is a good day that Eagle piece is really cool wonder what it is. I've done the same check my finds and find some old coins usually I look at them unless there too dirty to see. Very good hunt I pass on bottle caps many times when time is short our star flower is a pop top. Good post. Tommy

Love me some IH's, congrats DL!!! "D"
