No,not the Washington Arsenal but the .52 Cal Minnie  I probably only have a hand full of these so they're a welcome sight. The WA's are cool too!!Not sure but I think the one piece is from a mechanical pencil?? It was good to get out and dig a few bullet's from the farm at Antietam, wish I had more time.Thank's for looking and Happy Holiday's :icon_santa:

It was great to get out today Joe, its been a LONG time for me.I had a wonderful time even with only 2 percussion caps. You did well and made some great saves there buddy. We will tear them up in a couple weeks. Thanx for calling and bringing me.

Re: It's been a while since I found one of these........

Man I like those Minnie's.. Where I am at, you are more likely to find a 1909 vdb than a dropped minnie.. lol congrats!

Re: It's been a while since I found one of these........

Nice finds there civilman! Finding a minie ball here in central Texas is almost like finding hens teeth , but I have found a few here.....mini balls not hens teeth. By the way, would that .52 cal. be considered a mini minie? :tongue3:

Merry Christmas!

Re: It's been a while since I found one of these........

Nice looking bullets!

Re: It's been a while since I found one of these........

Nice finds. If I find one piece of lead now I call it a lucky day.

Re: It's been a while since I found one of these........

Killer relics!

Re: It's been a while since I found one of these........

Nice lead Joe. I would love to find a star based.

Re: It's been a while since I found one of these........

Nice job. I like the smaller caliber bullets. I managed a 54 cal teat base with Hutch.

Re: It's been a while since I found one of these........

I'm partial to the 'Mini' but I love those STARS. Remember my first at DIV...did backflips on the beds in the hotel... :laughing9: Great to see some civil war relics still pulled from Antietam...the history that goes along with that lead just makes them priceless. I'm sure there is plenty still there...just got to put the coil over it. Awesome day baby! :icon_thumleft:

Re: It's been a while since I found one of these........

Nice haul of lead Joe! :headbang: I always love seeing those Washington Arsenals come out, the Yankee boys were using them heavy down this way. That .52 Minie is sweet too; those

and the .54 variants are amongst my favorite type, very nice digs brutha :icon_thumleft:
