The last couple of days have been the best I can remember.. Today I found 2 plated gold rings but, they were attaches to a .925 rope necklace, yesterday I found a vintage opal/Marksite sterling ring, and sunday I found My best ever find, a 14K 8.5 Gram 3/4 caret mens wedding band worth over $1500 according to two diffrent jewlers I took it too.. Yes Its been nice but, I'm not sure Ill ever really top these.. The only thing that bothers me is the only reason I got into this hobbie was to hunt for Old coins.. Ive only found 1 merc. and thats it..

rings from last 1.5 months

Awesome finds Rob. Funny how that with the coins so few and far between. I've found 4 silver dimes in the last year and one of those was found at a school while the other was found in a park. The oldest was found on an empty lot that once hosted a turn of the century since demolished. This is what makes the hobby so interesting. No matter what you find, when and where. There is always something you didn't find or somewhere you didn't hunt. Then there is the hunts like last weekend, where you hunt a 5 acre lot and find a horseshoe and nothing else, maybe some fire ants. LOL.
