It's my first!!!

Went to a early 60's elementary school for about twenty minutes, on the last signal of the day I pulled a 51 wheatie out of the ground. It is my very first, which is kind of funny since I've already found a 1906 indian head penny. While it is not corroded, it is an ugly grayish-green, does anyone know how to clean it? Thanks.

Nice job, try putting it in a potatoe (yes i said potatoe....don't believe me then go to cleaning and preservation forum ) and leave it in for a few hours . Not too long or else it will turn rusty color

Nice pile of coin....
I use heated peroxide, works pretty well on pennies....
