It's That Time Of Year Again :-)

Hey all

took the CTX out to an old farm today as I had a day off for once in like 3 weeks and the weather was good so I took advantage :-)

I'll be going back (and you'll see why below) with the CTX and 6" coil and the Deus... (Today I used the stock 11" coil on the CTX) but it's a nail infested nightmare!

I still managed some good stuff though ;-)

Outstanding bunch of digs there!!! Love the old coins and relics! Haven't scored a Half Dime yet. I found one of those Heart Buckles in 2011. That is a great find -----> The Heart buckle found turns out to be a CIVIL WAR HORSE'S HEART-SHAPED HARNESS BUCKLE SHIELD....ACCORDING TO
HOWARD R. CROUCH'S HORSE EQUIPMENT OF THE CIVIL WAR ERA, PAGE 168...THESE
ITEMS PROTECTED THE HAIR OF THE HORSE'S TAIL FROM BEING PULLED OUT OF THE
BUCKLE TONGUES. THE HEART MOTIF WAS VERY POPULAR.

Man Lone wolf what a great hunt , that half dime is sweet and a shield and fatty to go with it , good save for sure ! I dug a heart buckle a couple years ago , that's a good find , congrats !
