He/she did NOT take to kindly to my invasion of its space and promptly crawled on to my tablet, then ran up my arm and proceeded to stare at me! heh

Great picture! (But I don't like spiders.)

Throw a grasshopper in the web.

 nice shot....I've got a friend for it......
FSCN4011.webp....and a little snack....FSCN4010.webp...;)

I'm hoping to really improve my pic quality soon, the tablet takes just okay pics, but soon getting a 34 megapixel..I think..Nikon DSLR so that will take me where I want to be, the future, have not used my old 35mm cameras in quite some time.

Mike

Ha, ha, I haven't even seen my 35 mm cameras for a while. I still have two somewhere packed and out in the storage. Sure, those took great pictures; but then the film started costing more and the processing was ridiculous compared to 'digital'. Don't know anyone interested in buying a couple of (I think) still working 35 mm cameras? lol

Ewww,Ewwww. Your tablet gets the pics across just fine. (Shudder.):laughing7:

I wish somebody would chime in as to what spider that is. first time I've seen one that size that is orange anyway.
that beautiful little moth I posted a few weeks back, Jeff of pa figured it out..no idea how but he sure did.

Mike,
We have those critters around here in late summer, they sure are pretty........no idea what they're called.

As far as I know those spiders are called "Garden Spiders", just goes by what color they are. Some also call them "corn spider". Yours BC1969 looks large so probably is the female, think the one I posted is male maybe because smaller? I think spiders are actually pretty, scary but pretty.:laughing7:

Well not getting that camera I was going to get, got a offer on a new d800 that I can't pass up, which is 36mp, not sure why he is going to sell it to me so cheap other than I've been a customer of his for the last 25 years, and I don't want to admit how much I've spent on 35mm equipment over the years for fear The RedHead will read this lol..now I may need some backup when I tell her how much 400mm lenses cost. would like a 600mm lense, but only people that do photography for a living buy lenses that cost up to 20 grand, maybe if I win the lottery!

Looks like an Orb Weaver spider.
