I remember when my buddies and I were heading up to get inducted. It was 1968! All of 18 years old! What did we know then?
The induction center looked like a High School Gym Locker with a lot of lost bewildered youngsters in it!
Children really. Many who never returned home.

Like the War Prayer, when we pray to win our wars we also pray for others to lose theirs. So be it.
War is not fair. Not for the soldiers! Not for the people who have to live through it! Certainly not for the airhead actresses who think they're above it all.

My dad was in 'Nam at the same time she was (with the Air Force, not hanging around the enemy, of course), he'll never forgive her, nor will I. I can forgive a lot of mistakes, open treason isn't one.
