January '07 Fossils

Well, I know this is waaay late, but I figured this fossil section of the forum is in need of a bit more posts.

My hunting partner and myself discovered a good Miocene site to hunt marine fossils at, the begining of this year.. Normally we hunt for Pliestocene stuff here in North Florida, so this was a nice for a change.. I didn't get any real large sharks teeth, but I got my first whale tooth and dugong tooth...

Here's a photo of most of the finds, along with some "in situ" shots. Sorry about the photo sizes, I don't have much time to resize right now. (oh, and can anyone teach me how to add a photo, text, another photo, text?)

Re: January '07 Fossils

you've got a nice creek there Cris, lots of nice sharp hemis, and the whale tooth rocks!

North Florida huh? I'm in Jax, any chance you want to get together and swap stories?

for that stuff, we have the beaches and a dredge spoil here and there. unless you are willing to crawl the black muck in the rivers.

nice pics!
