Jeter gets his 3,000th hit, & fan returns the ball
I'm not a a big baseball fan, so I guess this a a great accomplishment in having 3000 hits. Christian Lopez, not only caught the ball, but returned it to the Yankees. "In fact, some estimates put the ball's worth at $250,000, money that the recent graduate from St. Lawrence University could have certainly used."
Personally, I think I would have sold that bad boy and taken the money
If he wanted it that bad, I'm sure he could pony up the money
