June 2014 Finds - Big Silver Ring + More!

[Ed-D]

I tried and tried to get gold in June, but didn't. That broke my seven month gold streak... oh well, what I did get is plenty good for me.

Here are my notable finds for June

1 Gold plated "class" ring. This ring is odd as it has no date and only says "High School" on it. I think it was a demo ring from a salesman's kit.
4 Silver rings including a huge 18 gram FFA ring
1 Silver bracelet

A 1946D Roosie

2 Great Seal military uniform buttons

A Fort Worth Transit Company token.

Those are terrific finds! Congrats!
I have yet to find gold this year!
I remember seeing "high school" rings offered in a flyer insert too.

Nice saves. You needed public transportation in Ft Worth to get from bar to bar when I was there, lol. I remember being able to get a cheaper HS class ring in inserts too, MsB.....we're telling our age!

MsB and OD - Thanks for the info on the generic HS Class rings. I was wondering why would someone wear a sales demo ring out to the lake. I never knew there were these generic ones for sale. Thanks!
