I think i'm having my best silver year yet! I got onto a field I only get to visit once or twice a year due to location. Was digging nothing but junk but i've found some great finds here before and it's an old site so I knew there was a chance...and sure enough out pops my second Spanish silver this year! Couldn't be happier with this hunt

Nice one! You have a "Head" Pistareen, minted in Spain, as opposed to one of their New World mints.
See page 9 in the attached link. The Head Pistareen did not circulate in large quantities in North America.

Wow...I didn't even realize it was different than the typical Spanish silver of that era...couldn't see the forest through the crud! Thanks for the info!
