Looked in a field for about an hour and found this point and then decided to see if Morels were out but only found 1. Does anyone know what type this is?

You soak the shrooms in water then bread and fry them. I'm not a fan but the rest of my family is.

Looks like thebes to me, too.

Wow! Knobbed Hardin. Cool form. I have never found one.

Congrats,
Chuck

I think it is a Knobbed Hardin now that I have seen that picture you sent Thanks every one for responding Thanks for the pic th3rty7

Nice point, and the pecker heads are up around here. Found 130 Sunday and had 'em with a t-bone tonight! Mmm.. mmm

Even with a couple ear dings that is a really great point. They're one of my favorite types. Everybody is all about the paleos but imo the early archaic guys crafted some of the best looking points out there.

Scored a couple lbs of shrooms today...I need to loosen my belt : )
