I always save enders for last! If the rest of the box is a skunk, at least I know I have one in the bank

To be honest, the outcome will be the same whether you open the ender 1st, last or in the middle of roll searching.

I always save it till the end. There's a known quantity there, so I want to have the surprises first. Then if I strike out, at least I get something cool at the end.

What Avago said!

I like to look at both sides of a box. Mark where the enders are, then open the boxes with no or the fewest enders first. We all have our silly rituals. As huntsman says, it doesn't have any effect on the outcome. It's just a mind game.

Does it even matter?
says the man who weighs every roll before opening....:laughing7:

Outcomes the same if you wait to open an ender till last, or weigh every roll before opening.

I say to each their own and cheers to superstitions. :occasion14:

Outcome is not the same, I can weigh every roll and the box could be a skunk. Having a silver Ender is a guarantee that box is not a skunk, no matter how you finish that box. You'll still walk away knowing you got silver from it. but hey, don't let me teach you how to coin roll hunt, do what you feel best. We all have opinions, and that's all it is, our opinions.

what I was trying to point out is that you can weigh, open in a certain order or stand on your head while opening a box and the outcome will always be the same no matter how you do it.

Maybe greatstart said it best that we all have our rituals we like to do to make it fun for the individual, just like you have your own way of doing it.

I certainly did not mean to ruffle any feathers here. It was just a harmless question. You end up with the same amount out of silver no matter how you get there.
This is a hobby with an excitement factor to it. There is no right or wrong way to search a box.
I just put out a simple question/poll as to our individual ways to get the most enjoyment out of it.

Open it last unless my wife's interested. Then she gets to open it.
