Just bought a V3i, Whats the learning curve

I have had my V3i for two years now and have probably around 200 hours on it. I have made several programs and had decent luck with them, but for my own piece of mind I use the stock C&J program most of the time. I may tweak the sensitivity a little bit up or down, but it is my go to program that never seems to fail me. I have used magics program also, I cant handle the constant audio feedback yet, but it does seem to work well.

I bought the V3i for the challenge and the countless options and modifications you can make. I have somewhere between 60 and 80 hours on it so far and have found a cpl rings, a bunch of hot wheels cars plus other junk. I also have found $80.46 in clad. I bought it in Jan and went out a cpl times in Jan and was gone in Feb on vacation and hunted 17 days in March and only a cpl days in April due to rain and inclement weather. I been hunting in Hi Pro for the past few hunts and doing a little better than the C&J stock program.

This detector is amazing. I have hunted with a friend that has a CTX3030 and another guy with an Etrac and the only difference i can see is the Minelabs do a bit better identifying the deep targets but they don't find anymore than I do. Both of those guys been hunting over 35 years.

I pretty much mastered my ATP and found enough with it in 5 months of hunting to pay for it but the V3i by far surpasses the ATP.

I have even hunted places i thought I had hunted out with my ATP and still found enough to convince me that what i found i my ATP didn't pick up.
