V3i saving custom programs etc

The last few weeks I've been relearning and diving deeper into my v3i,
I read the manual but in some cases find it more explains a feature than walking you through using it, that or I'm just not grasping well,

I've been modding the factory jewelry and coin program to suit my taste and area, what I would like to do is change the prog name, I see this isn't too hard to do but after that I would like to add back to factory programs list an unmodded copy of jewelry and coins, but I get lost trying to figure out how to do that,
I don't want to loose my modded version as I have a lot of time in it.

If memory serves me correctly l believe you have to copy the program as the factory program cannot be renamed. @Carl-NC
