Went to have a look-see if the water has gone down yet, well not quite enough yet, but there were others enjoying it. When I came home I sat in my swing in the yard and watched the other birds frolicking about and some were enjoying my birdbath.......NGE

Hi NGE , Is that a Canadian poop factory, thingy in the first pic, and what is the red bird in the last pic. All pics are great, by the way . Unfortunately it's taking me time to get used to my new camera, but I hope to have some water birds this weekend. Your tip about the water bottle is starting to work,pictures later, thanks man

The red bird is called a Northern Cardinal, they are ground feeders and they love black "oiler" sunflower seeds, the female is more of a "buff" brown. And yes, the first critter is a Canadian " Poop" factory ( Canada Goose) ......NGE

9th pic looks like a house sparrow but what is the bird in the 10th pic?, the one with the magpie/crow looking beak. Once again great pics

9th. pic is a (pest) English sparrow, and I have to turn my wren houses into sparrow houses, because the wife likes 'em . The bird takin' a bath is a "Grackle". Our house sparrows are tinged in reddish purples. The good thing about grackles is that they fish the baby pest birds out of the houses and eat them....yessssssssssss!...........NGE
