Ok, I don't have a detector, YET! I did decide on the minelab xterra 505... But me being a little anxious decided to go in my back yard and dig a couple of small holes.. Didn't find any silver x) LOL! But I did find a marble! Go figure.. Hopefully that's a sign of a lot more stuff in my yard, once i get my detector, of coarse.. Haha!

Did a marble give you a signal? Or did you just get lucky having it sitting next to something metal? I know some glass has lead I am just curious. Thanks.

i dig holes some times and find clay ones,,,,,and i have broken glass in my yard that does make the dirt rod sing 1840s era type glass from window panes
