Just found your forum

G'day all.
I have just this morning found the forum and have been having a great read.

When I get the time I usually head out to the Victorian gold fields, Ive had a few small nugget finds but nothing that will let me retire from work.....yet....

My usual finds consist of coins, belt buckles, musket balls etc.
Most of the stuff is not earlier than 1851 when the Gold rush started, although I have found some old English coins that are earlier and were brought over with the rush.

Welcome from across the pond! Some of the nicest "foreigners" I have ever met were from Australia. I did learn after several attempts, do not try to out drink them. They were raised on Tooeys and XXX. I sure do miss those girls!
