Just make sure you leave a paper trail, and get lots and lots of pictures, they will be your best freind! Plus keep a diary, it may help too! Hang in there, things will get better, I'm sending lots of prayers and virtual hugs your way! Red oh yea, Chug reminded me of using your calendar, write down how you feel everyday and what you cannot do now cause of the accident!

You will get what is allowed by law, concerning comp, loss of job on and on. Even concerning civil suits against people who acted under gross negligence, such as dui or reckless action. Give the closest labor relations board a call AA, go through them and the labor lawyer is free. Plus now you can also sue the fool that hit you for lost wages.

Some people frown on the idea of getting an attorney. But my daughter was involved in a wreck a few years ago and she hurt her neck. She settled for medical expenses and a thousand bucks. This last summer she had to have surgery on her neck and the doctor said it was probably resulting from the auto accident she was in. So don't be too anxious to settle and do consult an attorney. Neck injuries are one of the most common in an auto accident that come back to bite you years later. Monty

It won't be something for nothing if you come up in acute pain a few years down the line and have to have surgery like my daughter. The insurance company will try to get you to settle for just the expenses but they are liable for any pain or discomfort down the line as well. It's the adjuster's job to try to "screw" you even though he will be Mr. Goodguy until the claim is settled. That's how the system works against you. Just don't go in with great expectations. They will be looking out for their company, not for you. Monty

So make sure you get both of those areas check as well as you can, and have your family doctor make any suggestions towards treatment, or further examination now before the lawsuits start going.
