I also live in Ohio - from what I've seen not all that many Carson City coins made it this far East.
I never expected to find one - got lucky - found a 1877 CC Dime in extra fine condition a few years ago.

Is the CC mint mark above the bow or below? Below the bow is worth more. CC coins are a favorite with collectors. It was a small mint with less production so the CC coins are scarce.
