Well folks thought we be moving the next couple of days but buying houses has it's bumps in the road.So we have had to move the closing date back to July 22 now. ::) Anyway not done much Mding lately so had to get out and relieve some stress today. And it was nice to do so other then melting down all day(man it's hot & dry here-need rain bad). This hunt was a last minute deal this morning so not much planing. And not much to show(but it is what it was).Three sites the finds came from.Guess the oldest was the pewter button & indian bowl pipe part for finds.
Take Care,
Pete, :hello:

Thanks Mike, Days like today aren't really good for me as the tide was just below normal. And when I say three sites I'm only talking a area maybe 15ft wide at best & sometimes 40yrds long.Sometimes I'm going through the heart of the site, sometimes it's further off shore & on the back side of it,& sometimes it's just begining to wash out.The good days for me are hair raising to say the least as it's going to be blowing. ;D People look funny at me when I've told them what I did on those days. :o (took the boat out).

The band I'm sure came off some kind of musket as it's to big to be anything like a 30/30 or rifle of sorts.Barrel part way to big for that. Like this.

I like that there nail in pitcher 5. It s in great shape. Looks like it just came from hard ware. I like old nails. Is that a sharks tooth in pither 2? That's neet 2. you have some neat stuff there. I once founda pipe like that one right on top of the ground behind a rental building in a bad part of town. I wondered how somethin that olld wouldn't have sank way down in the ground. We havent had any idians around here fer a couple hundred or thosand years or so. We still get a good chuclke out of it. Histery is neet. Keep up the good work my friend. :coffee2:

Thanks btornado71,
Yea I keep all these old copper nails myself they kinda grow on ya after finding so many.Kinda neat when you get a bunch saved up & look at how many kinds & styles were used back in the day.The teeth are from large grazing animals.Like to see the pipe you found if you want to post it?I don't ever see nobody else on here posting none that I know of made of clay like these.
