Keepers at an old school house...LC & CW Store Card
You can't believe how many times I have driven by this schoolhouse, which is on a main highway in our area, and thought about stopping. I have had permission for the last 2 years to detect it but you know how pounded most of the schoolhouses are, especially in my neck of the woods. I talked to the owner about a week ago and he has owned it for the last 20 years and only 2 people have asked and detected it to his knowledge. Both of those guys use decent machines but I have been excited the last few days about my SE and the program that Bryce put me on. I only hunted the front yard. Took it slow which lasted about an hour and a half. It was clear that it had been picked over even though I pulled a few shallow clad coins. The CW store card was deep and barely chirped. The LC rang in pretty good and I thought I was going to pull out a deep silver quarter. Much to my surprise, another LC and this one is in much better shape than the last ones coming out of the fields. I still have a side yard and back yard to cover so hopefully another keeper or two can be found. Hope you all had a good weekend.
