There's a little reservoir lake at a park in my town and when they fill it with the cold mountain runoff those turtles all get out of the water on a rock or log to catch some sun. They'll all head for the water when you come up on them, but don't stay in long til they're all back on their rocks and logs getting out of that cold water. It's funny watching them get in the water and out of the water all the time with all the people walking by.

They like that sun,hopefully I'l get a pic of the river carp sunning themselves,BIG suckers.
