Watering hole.

I just made this watering hole outside my garden fence. I sawed off the bottom 10 inches of an old plastic barrel, buried it flush with the ground, then used a couple of wheelbarrow loads of rocks to make it look natural. Water is supplied from the gardens drip irrigation system to keep it fresh.
The feral cat is the first customer. I can see I need to fine tune the camera and flash settings for the occasional cougar that passes through once in a great while.

Actually, probably making a mistake, but we've been feeding this one and another one on our porch.

Excellent job !!! I love it !!! Here, the bears,deer,birds,rabbits and squirrels all drink out of the 3 dog bowls in the backyard ☺
