✅ SOLVED Key Type Thing Found in a Barn

I found this item in a barn. About 1/4" down in straw and dirt.
Didn't see any gas valves, so I'm stumped.

Looks like this is a Gas Valve key tool.. Seen quite a few of them but none of this design, it is got the same make as a valve key tool though!

I always thought the triangular prism type wrenches/tools were for water valves.

another possibility is that it's a key for a RACO signal lock from the railroad. They were screwed open unlike regular key locks and had a triangular key similar to yours.....

there were several different variations on the key, a search will turn up a few, maybe one similar to yours.....
