They sure sound off good too! As many as we find Im sure some where very missed once they found out they had lost them.

Yeah, I've found an amazing amount of keys over the years. I lost count after 3500.... :laughing7:

I actually feel worse for those who lose a set of keys than for those who lose jewlery. From the beach you can't drive home because you lost the car keys. You get home and can't get in because, guess what, you also lost the house keys. And even when you get into your house you can't get into the alcohol cabinet because that key was lost on the key chain. Recently found this whole set of keys just feet from the beach exit and tried using the car key emergency button to find the car - no luck. So I placed the keys on a post next to where they were lost and hoped for the best. Just breaks my heart; a lost set of keys,

When I lived in OC Md for two years it was not uncommon to get chased down while detecting the beach by someone looking for their keys and if they were lost in the water I could never find them since the water is always raging. Sadly most sets of keys I did find had many other keys, like there house keys and other misc ones.
