So sorry for all your losses of friends and family!! My prayers are always with you!!

I spent many years taking drunk drivers off the roads, and every time someone whined or complained or wanted a break I remembered all the destroyed lives and unnecessary suffering caused by inconsiderate and selfish drivers operating under the influence!!

There's NO excuse for DWI or DUI!!

Thanks to everyone for your heartfelt expressions of sympathy and care. We greatly appreciate them and want you to know that we, too, believe Nima has gotten to go to a better place. Maybe she is playing her clarinet along with the heavenly orchestra, or dancing before the throne.

The guy who hit the car she was in is now aware that he has killed four people and is filled with remorse, but of course, it's too late. I'm sure he has loved ones out there as well, so there's yet another family and set of friends devastated by his choices.

Today (Tuesday) we are invited to Nima's school to see the pictures and read the words that her grieving classmates have drawn and written for her. Tomorrow, hundreds are expected to attend the services that will mark her passing. They are just the beginning as we attempt to fill the holes in our hearts that will never quite be the same again.

that the hole you are experiencing, would be so much larger had you not been able to know Nima.
I for one will always wonder having never heard her play or listened to her thoughts
or seen her dance....most of us with any heart at all, will wonder.

These are things that make us all sorrowful and angry.
These scars on our hearts will in time help us to be each one a better person.
At least I would hope.

Wow Mike and J-G..that makes wanna cry right now...my heart goes out to both of you and your familys.
Saying sorry to someone who just buried a child or a loved one lost to something that could have been prevented can never be enough. I've seen in several times in my life. Theres a family in our town who had 6 children, 5 of them were headed home from church one night and a drunk driver hit them head on killing all 5. I cant even begin to imagine what that must have been like for them to have to bury all but one child. They buried their babies (children) on their farm not far from here.

People need to realize that it only takes a second to change a life or take one. Im sad right now, but im also mad that yall have to go through this.

The one thing i would like to say to you Mike and J-G...make sure your voices are heard! I know as hard as it is, people do need to hear your stories. They need to be reminded. Hopefully It will make someone think twice before getting behind the wheel!
