Now Nima has been laid to rest, facing a meadow where horses roam, and in the distance there are tall hills and a lake.

We all miss her so much.

I wish everyone could know her.

To quote...
So, yes, grieve for Nima’s family and friends in pain. Support them. But don’t pity them.

Reserve that for those whose memorial services trigger little emotion. Or for those who lose someone and don’t hurt.

Because pain is the privilege of having something worth losing. And a life well lived leaves a legacy that lives on.

In Nima’s case, every time we look up and see a shooting star.
