Killer Cover of Spirit in the Sky

[jeff of pa]

[finderskeepers]

You're right...after listening for about 25 seconds, I wanted to stab my computer.

[spudwinkle]

Hey they got some of the notes right. Made it 30 sec. before hitting that stop button.

[diggummup]

I thought I was in Comedy Central for a minute. Pathetic rendition.

[releventchair]

Hey I could compliment them with my lack of ability in playing.

A couple pitchers of beer might help them sound better too.....
Yikes.

[jeff of pa]

I'm proud ! I got all the way through they really start rockin' about half way

[releventchair]

Oh no they didn't.

Only thing worse would be dragging four cats backwards on a chalkboard.

[Mackaydon]

If Norman Greenbaum is dead, he just rolled over.
Don.......

[Mackaydon]

Allow me to 'clear the air'; not with the Greenbaum version (that was perfection) but with another offering:

Don....

[jeff of pa]

I like these Better because they get less play

[Oregon Viking]

Instrument abuse!! (first post)

[austin]

Jeff, thanks for posting. I never make fun of musicians. It's hard to do it right. These guys are trying and yeah, they have a way to go, but if people are serious, they will get there. We did...

It's hard to do it right. I visit music stores and 1 out of 10 can play their instruments....Guitar in my case. They all believe they are the worlds greatest , but sadly....no. The "rock" stars are the major pains. I give guitar and bass lessons and the "my friend said this is how it's done" takes time and to undo. Bad habits are hard to kick. I have taught a couple amazing, talented people...great attitude, willing to listen, even though they are better then me. This place is famous for "rock stars" to start wandering in...In the afternoon of course.

Sorry Jeff! OV got off topic!
Here is a cover, that you would not think this band would....cover!
