Hey everyone,
I was able to get out for a few hours yesterday and managed to get onto a good site. The farmer was picking up the hay as I was asking to try his field. Research payed off and I managed to pull 3 coppers, an 1820's eagle button, a 3 ringer and a bunch of other relics including a pipe stem The one copper is an off centered 1797 Liberty cap half cent. I also found my first oxe knob (not pictured). I swear oxe knobs are migrating south while three ringers are migrating north as i hadn't found either in Pa before this week. Lol

Thanks,
CC

great finds!

what is it with all of the liberty cap coins coming out the past few months? People will begin to think fields in the eastern US are littered with them.

Without a doubt a killer hunt. Finding any half cent, let alone a liberty cap is a major score. Great going!
