Had a brief period without rain yesterday and as the cold is on the way I thought I would get out for a bit. Hit a new spot and came up with a 1749 George II halfpence. It may be toasted, but I always like finding early coppers.

Awesome Don. That looks mint compared to the 5 ugly coppers I've found on the last couple hunts. Great start to the year. Feels damn good to have a few keepers right out of the gate

That's a nice find!, beat or not KGs are always a great dig!

Excellent start to the year Don. Keep 'em coming ....

envious of you guys, a wonderful find

Great start for 2015. Congrats on the KG!! Toasted or not, I will probably never find one here in Ohio.

Nice find Don. That's a great way to start off the year!

I'm new to the CTX, what do KG coppers show on the FE/CO? How about LC's?

Heeee's OUT OF THE GATE! Great start! Love those KG's no matter what they look like. Hey, and you got the date! WTG! HH

Don that's way to start the new year . Congrats

Nice find Don. I didn't get one all year long.

Nice start to the year. Looks like every KG I've ever found :)

The very fact that you can identify it is awesome!
Dude, I have a single LC no date! Only wishful thinking to date? It. Lol!
Congrats!
