...it was sticking out of ground, straight up. It had a rib bone handle but I didn’t get it saved. I tried to but didn’t really know how and it is dried up past saving now...

Thanks Fat. Not very much info around about the limace but I understand they were scrapers although unique. Didn't know they were hafted! Good information!

... not the best pic or doesn’t show but I think that impact was made in the knapping process or already on the core material. I don’t think it was from use...

That first red one looks like it’s got two fairly flat faces then a steep edge… you think it’s been worked down from a larger piece or was that just the way it was made?

... I think it was a larger piece that has been worked down...
