When I got up the the new claim area it was starting to snow and didn't quit until a foot of slop had accumulated and the area became inaccessable until next spring. Result,no sample hotrock,sorry. Also no Pt.,DANG! Fred

Tell you what John,with the monsoon rains they had just a week before the snow and the lack of an El-Nino this year there ought to be lots of movement of the gravels. The Tulameen River got so high that they had a "watch"on the Bridge at Princeton. Apperently the water came within a foot or so of the bridgedeck. That would make the rise about 12 feet or so. This is the river that Chris in BC works. We all expect there to be some new or at least well rearranged bars next season. Fred

Granite Creek British Columbia Canada. Is this where you are mining Fred?
I see a guy on Ebay who sells Platinum nuggets from this area. His name is "Prospectorsgold".
Just curious if this is where you are doing your hunting (Not that I would ever get up here).

I know the miner that sold to prospectorsgold very well, the platinum comes from the Similkameen district but the river is not Granite Creek although Granite platinum is nearly identical, just a touch larger.
