As i was about to put this into the vending machine today i noticed the numbers counted down F47-46-45-44N. Is this a ladder note? What do you think this is worth?

A Dollar maybe? :laughing7:

Put it on ebay and start the bidding at $20.00. You might be pleasently surprised.

Somewhere, there's a collector for everything!!

I agree, throw it up on Ebay and see what happens. That is a neat note.

On the downside though it is in pretty rough shape, lots of creases.

Good luck

When a serial number with digits either in ascending or descending numerical sequence, it's a ladder note. Examples of ladder notes are serial number 012345 and serial number 765432.

So it is a 'ladder' note.....just with bigger numbers?

Pretty cool, i probably would have not noticed it, as I sit here wondering what the serial number was on the dollar i just spent on this Mt. Dew.

I was definitely kidding and being a smart ass. My father has a bill he found in the early 70's that has nothing but 77777's all the way across.....He used to carry it everywhere with him for good luck. I need to ask him where it is now.....that's probably worth some serious $$$$

Iron it gently. It will come back to almost pristine condition. I know because when I was in high school I would trade in 2 tens for 20 ones and iron them to make it look like I had a lot of money to impress my date. :dontknow: ;D
