Large 3 piece button / peweter front with roman soldier figure ??
This Large button / 35 mm was found in my neighbors yard earlier this week . The house was built in 1852 but the land was cleared in the mid to late 1700.s and was farmed until the middle of the 19th century . . You can still see a small piece of the front still attatched to the back plate . There are no backmarks on this button ?? Has anyone else come across one ? or a similiar one ??
