Last sunday was a great day weather wise....with the temperature in the 60's we decided to go to an area we havedetected 2 years ago and have not been back since... The first site (old cellar hole) we detected seemed to be the best of the day. Finding large cents , a few buttons and the boot heals all came out of this area ..The guys I was with also found a few nice items and a nice buckle dating to the mid 1800's ...
The old ford Caps came out up the road in a very rocky area that may have had something there at one time . There were no visual clues to anything being there ..harmonica reed, the buckle and heart shaped lock all came out there....The 1835 large cent should clean up nicely!!!! Good luck in future hunts!!!! enjoy.

Excellent digs! That 1835 Large cent is in great condition. You dug a lot of nice relics to.
Are there any markings on the heart shaped lock at all? You guys had a great day to be out with temps in the 60's. Still snow covered and in the 30's here in nortern wisconsin.
Best of luck to you on those cellar holes. HH!

Nice hunt and congrats on the LC! HH, Mike
