LARGE/ GIANT yellow bottle or vase?? Help Identify please

What is it?? A vase, never seen a bottle this large, any guess on the age and origin ?

I Notice the bottom is smooth and flat and green.

It doesn't look very old. It could be a modern vase or water jug, not sure. 'Can't quite see the neck, but this thing looks like it might even be machine made.

I'd definitely enjoy using it as an aquarium or terrarium or something, that'd be awesome.

Yea I was Thinking like 1970's. Think it's more a decanter, but good golly, the size of the thing! Still a big piece of pretty yellow glass.

I agree with NJKLAGT. If this piece ever had a purpose other than holding stalks of Pampas Grass, it was as a fermenter for wine. It appears to be a modern piece in an unusual and attractive color, whatever its function. Here's a couple of earlier fermenters:
