Cha-ching...cha-ching...the sound of Silver being cashed in at near spot!! That is close to a $600 quick bonus.

I am wondering who the fool who cash the dimes in to a bank. Great find.

Love it!!!!! Now that's what you call a collection. DUMP.
Congrats on a fantastic find.

dummy got a $160 ticket for the loud muffler on his Tercel the week before __________________

(this sucks---I aint's got's no cash ta pay dis ticket......................'cept for dem dimes and the 10 rolls of dirty quarters in the coffee can from granpah) :laughing7:

Nice finds. Never been able to snag a dime collection dump - congrats on yours.

Can't wait to see the pics ! Don't you just love the "unknowing and the uncaring " ? ( that's not a put down , they're on my team ! )

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice! Can't wait to see those pics!

Did you go back and ask for other denominations cashed in by the same person?

Awesome find ! Just doing the math, though, "....12 solid rolls of silver dimes.", would be 600 dimes, not 595. Am I missing something ? Again, awesome find.

Holy cow! That doesn't seem possible ........but I guess it is.

CONGRATS!

A lot of times when a "collector" passes, the family says, "I'm not carrying rolls of coin, I'm cashing in." The family doesn't realize what is in the rolls, only they want cash.

Agreed. And typically, nine out of ten people don't know the difference between a clad and silver dime. I've done my own tests with friends and co-workers.

I hope my wife doesn't do the same with my collection when I die. Most likely it will just go to the bank for cash. So guys, be on the lookout for massive amounts of silver, wheaties, type coins, proofs, etc in a few years off I hope.
