Awesome points!!!

Thanks for showing them. They all look real nice.

Beautiful points Martingeetars!! I love the red color and shape of the first one. What do you think a point like that was used for?

You know huntress104 I'm thinking alot of these were knifes hafted to a bone or wood handle, we find quite a few that are resharpened on one side so I'm thinking they just used them until dull, resharpend and reused them, they seem to be to heavey to use as an atlatl type point, with the weight of the point they would have to be awful close to there subject they were trying to take down, but those are just my thoughts. What are you thinking?

I was thinking with the size of them they were probably used on a spear, lance or something of that nature. They look too big to be used on an arrow shaft. I have found some big points and with the size and shape of the I always wondered what they would have been used for and why so many different shapes. I know there had to be a purpose for how they were made.
